[Mplayer-users] Possible LIRC <-> Mplayer bug

Hello *,

I'm using a home-brew "irman"-clone for controlling
my Linux system via LIRC.

Today I tried to set it up to control "mplayer"
and I ran into the following possible bug.

I noticed that every second key press gets
ignored, so I stripped my ".lircrc" down
to this:

--------------------------------
begin
	prog = mplayer_lirc
	button = pioneer-manual-next
	config = FWD
end

begin
	prog = irexec
	button = pioneer-manual-next
	config = echo "1"
end
--------------------------------

When I start both "irexec" and "mplayer",
I can clearly see that every second
keypress gets ignored.

I press the button "pioneer-manual-next"
button, a "1" gets echoed and "mplayer"
skips 10 seconds. But on the second press,
only the "1" gets echoed, but "mplayer" does
nothing.

So this is *not* a receiver problem.

Any ideas?

CU
Michael.
