 Ok, I found some time to prepare a samples and bugreport. Here it goes.

Description:
------------

 There  are  stripes,  either  bright  green or dim blue (sometimes vio­
let/red) on the left side of the screen. It's rather a file independent,
but  I've uploaded a two files - one avi and one mpeg. You can find them
at:

 There are also logs of mplayer -v of those files playing, and this text.

 There  are  big green stripes while playing mpeg file, and smaller, al­
most  invisible blue stripes in avi file. I'm playing files using follo­
wing options in my config:

vo = tdfxfb
fs = yes
framedrop = yes
vfm = 5
osdlevel = 1
quiet = 1
skin = DVDPlayer
gui = yes
dr = yes


 When  I change the vfm, the stripes are gone in the mpeg, but remain in
the avi. When I play both files using -vo xv, the vertical  stripes  are
gone,  but  xv  introduces new artifacts - a horizontal distortion under
the playable area (sometimes pink line, sometimes green line,  sometimes
a bit of the movie. It isn't big, but it is annoying)
