ok, so to be exact:
IT IS ALLOWED TO MAKE BINARIES, besides we still don't like the idea because
of its drawbacks mentioned few mails earlier and in the docs.

about being GPL. we've swicthed to GPL just a few days ago, when i removed
nongpl stuff from the main CVS trunk. docs aren't updated yet, this pre1
version is the preview of the code, not the docs!

as the feature list won't change a lot before 0.90final (but nonstop changed
in past weeks) it's time to doc maintainers and translators to make the docs
uptodate.
