Then simply they should not use Linux, they should use Windows!
I think it's a very bad inmagine that Linux should be some ugly toy
system like Win$ux. I don't want many-many stupid Linux users because they
will cause Linux become to a monster: several gigabytes of unneeded stupid
GUI libraries, oversized applications just for 'everyone in one software'
instead of using the UNIX power to connect some filters/programs in once
with a line of bash magic ... and so on.

AND. MPlayer is a free software. We're not interested in giving FULL user
support since it's our free time you see ... It would be another case if
eg Arpi should be payed for that task ... But till then we're mainly
developrs and NOT user supporters ...

The other: many users ask about BASIC Linux/UNIX things on this list.
First we have no time for this, second there're MANY forums/mailing lists/
web pages/etc about this so those kind of users should ask those questions
there ...
