[MPlayer-users] Vobsub format .IFO files no longer needed

You shouldn't need to use -vobsub as long as the base filename is the
same as the avi.. that is, as long as both the .rar and the .avi are
named "tlr-postx" mplayer will autoload it.  Try not specifying -vobsub
and see if that works.

For rar'd subs, all you need to do is exactly what you have done -- rar
up the idx and subtitle into one file.

My recommendation if omitting -vobsub still doesn't work is to try
unraring the subtitles and recreating the .rar file with rar 2.8 or any
2.x... it's possible the postx people used rar 3, and mplayer is choking
on it.
