[MPlayer-users] Preserved aspect ratio

Does anyone know how to elegantly corect aspect ratio of the movie that was
set with mencoder using:

-ovc lavc -lavcopts aspect=x/y:[more options]

The problem is that i didn't realise that x and y are integers(wrong example
in documentation), so my stored aspect is 1.0:1.
And AFAIK aspect=x where x is float doesn't work either, but from the
sources I've seen it should.

I'm not looking for "mplayer aspect=x" solution.
