Yup, that in fact was the next question i prepared. ;-)
How about the portability of VBR-encoded DivXes? Did you tried them on
Windows? Or on Linux but with other codecs/players?

VBR surely is a very good idea for MP3 in itself, but i'm not sure about
interactions with DivX codecs/players...

But then again, how about ABR? (i'm using LAME terminology)
