[MPlayer-users] mplayer - opening video problem

Hi
At least I've installed my mplayer with gui. But it's not end of 
problems. Many times I can't open the movie file because mplayer says 
that this file isn't in this location. And it's true. In gui panel I 
don't see oryginal file name , only random characters in example:
I choose from /dev/cdrom file gladiator_cd_1.avi and in gui I see
T at e@<some asci characters>cd at 1.avi and mplayer don't see this file in 
cdrom of course. But sometimes it opens files with no trouble!!

What is the problem ???
