[MPlayer-users] Local related weird compile bug

I set my LC_ALL variable to "tr_TR" ( for Turkish ) in /etc/profile and 
when I try to compile mplayer . I get

I f I do
export LC_ALL=POSIX before compilation it compiles without a hitch.
