[MPlayer-users] -nosound problem with first pass

Hello,

I'm encoding a file with

mencoder -nosound -ovc lavc -lavcopts 
vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=791:vhq:vqmin=1:vqmax=31:vpass=1 -sws 2 -forceidx 
movie.avi

but mencoder always encodes the audio in 1-pass, although I specified the 
-nosound switch.
According to mencoder manpage, it should turn off the sound encoding.
