[MPlayer-users] specifying the codecs directory !

hello, this may seem stupid to you but i couldn't find a way to specify 
where my codecs are ! i'm a user on a network and i cant write to /usr/bin 
or /usr/lib. i installed mplayer to my /home/user/bin directory, but it 
always tries to read codecs form /usr/lib/win32 !
keep up with the outstanding work !!!
