[MPlayer-users] vcd problems (new & relatively new)

Well, like I said, when setting mc to something other than 0, it freezes at
the end/beginning of vcd tracks (no menus / stills involved).

The audio seems to reset to 0 for the next track while the video has not 
according to the output on the status line.

The video image seen is that of the last few frames of the track just played.

Occasionally, it will seeem to decide to skip ahead a bit and maybe even resume
playing.

cpu usage is normal (ie not 100%).

note this is a separate problem from the non-playing of vcds occuring in 
recent builds over the last 10 days.

EVERY multitrack vcd I have tried has this issue now.

fyi, I am using the 3/10/02 build, but later and earlier builds have the same
problems (well, later builds that do not freeze altogether with vcd playing, 
but that is a separate issue).

Here is an strace of mplayer freezing at the end of a track.
the "unfinished" was printed out when I ctrl-c'ed. Note that the strace output
stopped when mplayer froze:
