Here is the significant output from xawtv -debug 1:

gd: config 384x288 win=2800040
v4l: setformat
v4l: capture probe 16 bit YUV 4:2:2 (packed)... ok
setformat: 16 bit YUV 4:2:2 (packed) (384x288): ok
grabdisplay: using "16 bit YUV 4:2:2 (packed)"
cmd: "capture" "off"
gd: stop
v4l: setformat
v4l: capture probe 32 bit TrueColor (LE: bgr-)... ok
setformat: 32 bit TrueColor (LE: bgr-) (384x288): ok
v4l: setformat
v4l: getimage
video: x11_create_ximage
video: x11_destroy_ximage
cmd: "capture" "grab"
gd: start
v4l: setformat
setformat: 16 bit YUV 4:2:2 (packed) (384x288): ok

As I said, xawtv's colors look fine, byt in MPlayer they are all blue-ish, no
matter what color setting I choose. I have tried all the color settings in
the DOCs, and YUV as xawtv seems to use. Also, here is some output mplayer
gives when I start the TV:
vo: X11 running at 1952x864 with depth 24 and 32 bits/pixel (":0.0" => local
display)
Xvideo image format: 0x32595559 (YUY2) packed
Xvideo image format: 0x32315659 (YV12) planar
Xvideo image format: 0x59565955 (UYVY) packed
Xvideo image format: 0x30323449 (I420) planar

I tried all those color formats too, and none worked :o)
