Hi,

After many days of heavy work by Pontscho and others, it seems we got
fullscreen with X11 drivers (x11,xv,xmga and xvidix) working now (in CVS).
It means option -fs, and runtime windowed-fullscreen switching with 'f' key.
Also these combined with -rootwin and/or -zoom options.

Option -fsmode is obsoleted, so has been removed.
If you still has problems with fullscreen, you may try -fsmode-dontuse,
but do not report bugs when it's used. It does conflict with the current
fullscreen code.

If you still have problems related to fullscreen or -rootwin, report them,
as described in bugreports.html, and also:
- ALWAYS TRY and TEST THE UP-TO-MINUTE CVS VERSION!
- run ./configure with --enable-debug=3
- include the full, UNCUTTED mplayer -v ... log
  (running ./mplayer from the source tree, instead of the installed&stripped
  binary)
- exact version and name of the window manager used
  (please do NOT report bugs if you're using some alpha/beta quality wm!!!)

For IceWM users:
================
to get the tasbar hidden with mplayer fullscreen (and any other apps), you
HAVE TO change something in the configuration:

add/change this line at your ~/.icewm/preferences file:
  TaskBarKeepBelow=1

without this change, there is NO WAY to get any window overlap the taskbar!!
