Yep, it's the fastest output on my computer... thats why I wrote it ;) I dont
know if it will work on a rush, where abouts is that in the voodoo development
chain? tdfxfb works on a banshee or greater, prolly wont work on a voodoo 2 but
I havnt heard of anyone trying.

The tdfxfb driver in mplayer does *not* have anything to do with the kernel
driver, I just use the standard fb stuff in the kernel and the tdfxfb driver for
my banshee, it just uses /dev/fb0 or whatever device you specify to manipulate
the card's internal memory registers etc. You must be in framebuffer mode to use
it though, text mode is not good enough and with X I've seen it corrupt the
cursor and other weird things.
