[MPlayer-users] Mencoder won't work with Lame.

look,

i have a mandrake8.2+cooker.

i have gcc3.1

i installed lame... i did it via downloading the tar.gz package, and
configure+make+make install. did you do it the same way? or you simply
downloaded something like lame.rpm... this can be a problem, because
then you'll need something like lame-devel.rpm too.

after doing the mp3lame install, i configure+make+make_install-ed
mplayer, and it works..

what does your ./configure for mplayer? does it detect mp3lame?

and PLEASE, read the manuals, and FILL a bugreport. after all, it is you
who has problems, not? then do what is needed to do if you want to get
help. it's so easy. simply we can't help you from so small amount of
information.
