yes, but that causes software-scaling and is too cpu-intensive, since
this is a dedicated movie-player wich only got the leftovers: 500mhz
k6-2, wich actually can do the job, just no tricks like softscaling..

i like the framebuffer-device :)
also it only happens in combination with tv-out.
still i'll investigate your hint..
