Well the FPU is one element but not the only one. I had some time ago
a K6-III/350  (not the same thing as the K6-2, the K6-III has 256K of
level 2 cache) and it was able to play DVDs perfectly under Windows
(at the time there was not yet a usable dvd player under Linux).
