[MPlayer-users] Multiple langauges and subtitles.

I have a dvd that I am trying to watch, which has characters speaking in 
languages other than the main language of the movie.
The movie is in English, but occasionally the characters speak in Italian, 
Spanish, and German. 
Now normally the subtitles will appear when they speak non-English, but 
nothing shows up.
I can get subtitles to show all the way through the movie or not at all. I 
want some in between here.... 
Is it possible with MPlayer ?
