[MPlayer-users] Does option -mc 0 work for AVIs aswell ???

Can anyone tell me, how AVIs are synced when encoded with mencoder ?

I have several AVI files which i try to encode to avi with another codec. 
Mencoder somehow seems to desync the output files (at least the new avi isn't 
lip-sync anymore - the source was !) :

Why is mencoder duplicating anything ?

Both options -mc 0 and -nobps have no influence on this behaviour ! 
With Mpeg Files as input -mc 0 works as aspected !

What am i doing wrong ?

I'm using todays cvs of mencoder and i can provide a complete bugreport if 
this turns out to be a bug ! However i'm not sure if i did something wrong, 
but for mpeg files (or MPEGPES from VDR) the syncing works AND -mc 0 works as 
aspected !
Any ideas ?
