Sorry, no help there. The i810 driver isn't able to run in 32bpp at all and I have always runned it in 16bpp.
It must be some change from 4.1.x to 4.2.0 or from 4.2.0 to 4.2.1 that causes this, since it worked perfectly fine earlier.
