[MPlayer-users] mpg problem

hi,

i've got a .mpg file , it... well... it's a part of an anime series so
it should be 20min long.... the filesize is around 200Mb, so it seems to
be ok...

the problem is the following:

until approx. minute12 there aren't any problems, but after that the
audio is skipping/noisy, and the video is full with small noisy
rectangles...... it's unwatchable...

it tried it with -ac null... didn't help...

i can upload it if anyone cares... of course it simply can be a broken
mpg file... but the audio+video info is there ... it's just somehow
broken... :-(((

btw. i tried to make an avi from it ( i don't exactly know why :-),
with mencoder -ovc copy -oac copy in.mpg -o out.avi...

and it went well, but in the second half of mencoding it begun to
display skipped/duplicated frames... and sometimes even this:
