[MPlayer-users] converting mpeg/vcd to avi (divx)

Hello,

I would like to convert mpeg vids (or vcd)  to avi (especially divx). I 
did not find anything to it looking through the documentation and the 
mailing list archives. What I found was the other direction (divx to 
mpeg/vcd) but this is not what I want to do.
