Are you saying the movie file index is broken or mplayer's ability to read
it?
If the problem could be with mplayer I am willing to help fix the code.
Please let me know if I can be any help.
I found out today that the movie was originally on beta-max video and then
captured and converted to avi by adobe premiere.
