[MPlayer-users] movie only plays for one second ...

Hi,

I have a strange problem with mplayer, and I don't really know where it
comes from. I have tried with current cvs, and with the pre7 rpms, and
the problem is always the same: when I start playing a divx, the movie
plays for about one second then stops, and nothing happens. I can
forward, then it plays again for one second at the point I forwarded to,
then stops again. Pausing and resuming do not change anything. There is
also no audio.

Everything used to work fine, but I hadn't updated cvs in several months
... If someone has an hint on what is happening (I looked at the mailing
list, but couldn't find anything relevant), I'd be glad to know.

I'm using a Mandrake 8.2 with up to date packages otherwise, and the
vanilla 2.4.18 mandrake kernel.
