Hi,
I want to record movies from my mv videocard.
According to several suggestions I used xawdecode:
> xawdecode --version
This is xawdecode 1.6.5 running on Linux/i686 (2.4.10-4GB).
libxawdecode.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
# the resulting movie:
e.g. movie-RTLII-20020909-225904-1.avi is quite large
and succesfully growing ;-) during recording, but mplayer ist not able
to play it again.
How can I proceed to debug it? Did this combination work for anybody?
Might the problem be that my machine is too slow (500MhzPIII) and
therefore the encoding is corrupted?
As fas as I have seen during compilation ffmpeg was not compiled
into xawdecode.
Thanks, daniel
