[MPlayer-users] Blur in xv output with to width movies

Hi,

I think I found a bug. If I play a movie, with width bigger (or equal)
than the screen resolution, there is a strange blur about a quarter of the
movies height, halfway down the screen on the right side. Looks like an
old broken tv, or as if you scrolled the monitor image to much to one side
with an old monitor. This only happens with xv output, not with x11 or sdl
with -noxv. The movie has a size of 1024x576 (see included mplayer -v).
I never noticed it before, but I don't think I ever played a movie with a
width of 1024 before on this computer. On another computer (laptop with
800x600 tv-out) it playes correct though...

O yeah, just in case. I just updated mplayer to cvs. But now I can't get
it to play fullscreen (-fs or with the 'f' key) could be because I
experimented with some not (or not very well) working video outputs (gl2,
dga, fbdev, ...).

So here is some system specific info:

Screen res: 1024x768x24

System:
- Originaly: Redhat 7.2

Kernel version:
Linux flits101-79 2.4.17 #7 Fri Jun 14 01:08:03 CEST 2002 i686 unknown

libc version: 2.2.4
X version: 4.1.0 (to my surprise, thought I had 4.2.0, must have been
confused with my laptop, will try an update tommorow)

ld: 2.11.90.0.8 (with BFD 2.11.90.0.8)
binutils: 2.11.90.0.8

doesn't): Enlightenment.

pentium II 400Mhz
NVidia TNT (diamond viper v550)
NVidia closed source drivers (sorry, but they work)
- build: 2960

I could upload a sample, but I don't think that will help. And I can't do
it at the moment. I could do that sometime tommorow..

What ever happens, thanks for the help and thanks for the superiour media
player!
