[MPlayer-users] Splitting Avifiles > 4GB

Hi,

I recorded a long tv-show using mencoder. Unfortunately the resulting
file is approximately 5 GB large :( mplayer, mencoder and avidemux read
the file, but at 4GB all of them bail out. I tried avisplit (comes with
transcode), but the fragments are out of sync.

Does anyone know a way to recover the data beyond the 4GB-Avi-Limit?
