[MPlayer-users] failed to init video_out device

MPlayer dev-CVS-030404-12:03-2.95.3 (C) 2000-2003 Arpad Gereoffy (see DOCS)

"The selected video_out device is incompatible with this codec.
VDecoder init failed :(".

If gmplayer fails to init the video out device then it continues to try 
to load and locks up. :-)

If it can't init the video out device, shouldn't it stop?
