You may want to try lastest cvs. I just commited a new stream type wich
can be used to access MPlayer stream (ie file, vcd, dvd, etc) over the
network.
You need the server in TOOLS/netstream then you may remotly access file
but also dvd, vcd, etc by using such url : mpst://server/dvd://1 or
mpst://server//path/to/your/file.
Beaware that you can't access tv and mf as they aren't a real stream.
