dd if=/dev/cdrom of=test.ogm bs=1024 count=1
ogminfo test.ogm

If that produces a useful output then you could try
dd if=/dev/cdrom of=movie.ogm

(Yes, I've actually been that stupid once or twice and burnt an OGM
directly with cdrecord ;))
