[MPlayer-users] DV format file?

dear mplayer users:
	I'm trying the convert my DV encoded avi files to divx format with
	mencoder, but it seems not able to recognize this format , although
	the DOCS says DV is supported ( by 3 differnet codecs ) and they're
	actually on the system , what might be wrong?
