[MPlayer-users] Quicktime: "No 'moov' atom could be found"

mencoder encodes to AVI file format;
when you give the file to mplayer it will try to read it using the mov 
demuxer because of the extension assciation, and will fail
it's not MOV/MP4

it can decode but not encode to AAC
