Haas,

Thanx for the info.  I'ce got my cache set to a high number already.It
breaks up when playing mp3's and ther is disk actvity. I'll play around
with it and see how i can improve it.

man mplayer -> -cache (e.g. 30000 (ok, that's a bit much ;) )
