[MPlayer-users] Need suggestions for Video Card & Sound Card

IMHO buy a cheap card (with TV-out if you need it) - playing movie won't need a strong video card. i.e. an older Matrox or ATI would be a good choice (they have good picture quality, but poor 3D performance).
AMD Duron 950 MHz - 384 MB RAM - UHU Linux rc3 - kernel 2.4.20 - X 4.3 - Enlightenment 16
PS: I have an nVidia card :o)
