[MPlayer-users] Converting High res. Mpeg to Low res. Mpeg for dvd.

Use mplayer with -vo yuv4mpeg -ao pcm and then use mjpegtools to do the
encoding.  If you look around on my site (http://www.eskimo.com/~johnnyb/)
I've got a script that will recode files into VCD-compatible MPEG1, you
could easily adapt it to do MPEG2 or similar at whatever bitrate you
watned
