No, not the only one. The other is based on bbmpeg, included in transcode
(http://www.theorie.physik.uni-goettingen.de/~ostreich/transcode/)
Transcode uses it with '-y mpeg'. It can also work as interface to
mpeg2enc, you need to use '-y mpeg2enc' for this.

Dunno about this, too... But maybe there is something in mjpegtools or
