[MPlayer-users] mencoderproblem

im tryng to use mencoder to convert an mjpeg-avi to divx .. works just fine 
when i just copy the pcm sound but when i try to use lame and put mp3 sound in
it instead windows media player in windows xp (8.x?) wont play it.. works in 
windows 2000 (mediaplayer 6.?) .. works just fine in mplayer, powerdvd and 
xbox mediaplayer .. i'm using libavcodec and lame .. suggestions anyone??
