[MPlayer-users] ALSA (0.9.1) + mplayer (0.90rc4) + Audigy2 + channels & surround problem

should be possible, either with the surround filter (it makes 4 ch from 2)
or by manual re-mapping channels using the pan filter.
(i mean the new -af option, not the obsolete -aop)

btw all this is true only for PCM output, ie not available if you want ac3
passthru via spdif.
