[MPlayer-users] keypad numbers on input.conf

howdy,

am i right in noticing that the numbers on the numerical keypad do not 
control brightness etc.. by default, only the ones on the main keyboard? 
There doesn't appear to be any mention of the names of these keys in order 
to be able to bind the to a function. Personally i want to be able to 
assign them to change tv channel to a direct position in the channels= 
list, and not have to go up and down. petty, but still the question 
remains! Obviously they provide different key signals to the system, but 
maybe some distros are set up to report them as the same as the other 
keys?
