don't know, i alway do a proper close my programs, not that windoze-ish
"X"-button, as a matter of fact, the mplayer vo-window has _no_ X-button
on blackbox, so i assume a bug in metacity.

But probably just no one cares about bugreports for a stinking old release
of MPlayer. As in the DOCS: check if the bug exists with latest cvs, post
a full "mplayer -v" log

and more probably, they just ignore you because of stupid fullquotes :-)
