Hi,

Is it possible to control the font aspect ratio (ie height/width of
the characters)? I've tried the various -sub-* options without
success: when I'm playing movies which are wider than 4:3 the font is
always 'squashed', i.e. the height is too small for the font
size. Even if I use -vf expand to expand the movie to 4:3, the font
height seems to be based on the height of the unexpanded movie. I'm
using -vo xv.

I find that this makes it pretty tiring to read the otherwise
beautifully rendered subtitles. Is there a fix?
