 The ALSA version is 0.9.8, the November 14th CVS. All the ALSA CVS
 releases for the past week or so (maybe longer) have done it. The last
 one I had that worked was the October 29 checkout.

 MPlayer works great under it, I just have to compile it with the older
 ALSA.
