[MPlayer-users] can't play movies at theserverside.com

Hi people,

I do not seem to be able to play the filmed interviews at
www.theserverside.com with mplayer.

Here is an example:

The movie you'll get on that page is:

I have a Gentoo Linux, with mplayer 1.0_pre2.
Trying to play the video, I get what you see at the end of this mail. 

My config:
