Of course not.  It's not a QT app, it's a GTK app.  Use a GTK instead,
and you'll have better luck.  

If you don't want to install another program, download a "gtkrc" file
somewhere (that's a gtk theme) modify it to the font size and colors you
want, then copy it to ".gtkrc" in your home directory.
