[MPlayer-users] streaming asf over http

I have not been able to stream asx over http. 
There is a one-line patch suggested in the following
email:

Is this going to get resolved soon?

I checked that the problem is still in the CVS
version (Jan31-04). With the patch suggested in the
email, asf over http works for me 80% of the time. 
Without that patch, it is broken 95% of the time.
