[MPlayer-users] -vo vesa:vidix not working although xvidix does

Gaaah.. Top posting is bad.

Have you guys tried using -vo fbdev:vidix ? or directfb:vidix ?

DirectFB should be your best bet, just pass a kernel option "vga=0x315"
to start your framebuffer in 800x600 32bpp, or use fbset.

I'm not having much luck with DirectFB and a 2.6 kernel so far though,
so I'm back to using fbdev:vidix.

I've never had much luck with vesa at all, it looks very pixelated no
matter what I do.
