Nope, not with current MPlayer. G2 will in support this sort of thing
in the video core, but I don't know whether the normal player/encoder
will support this right away (or at all). Of course it'll be pretty
easy to make your own specialized apps using the G2 core libs.

In the mean time, gstreamer might be something like what you're
looking for, but you'll need to write the mixing/effects filters.
