ok, i will try this. the suggested commandline is:
$ mencoder -oac copy -ovc lavc -vf scale=720:480 \
> -o out.avi avseq01.mpg
according to the manpage i have a couple of codecs to choose from when using
libavcodec (lavc):
mjpeg: Motion JPEG
h263: H263
h263p: H263 Plus
mpeg4: DivX 4/5
msmpeg4: DivX 3
rv10: ein alter RealVideo-Codec
mpeg1video: MPEG1-Video :)
which one should i use to get the best result and keeping in mind that nero
vision express will later reencode the three file once more to mpeg2(?) ?
boys, i've been around for a couple of years now but this codec-stuff is
really the hardest thing i've ever met.
