[MPlayer-users] How to create a movie from a sequence of file for windows

I have a linux box with MPlayer installed and I tryed to create a movie 
starting
from a sequence of jpg file in this way:

mencoder mf://*.jpg -mf type=jpg:fps=25 -ovc lavc\
-lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4 -oac copy -o /output.avi/

The problem is that output.avi doesn't run with windows mediaplayer 9.

Error message from wmp9 = "ClassFactory cannot supplyrequested class"
